What happens to this stuff when we no longer want or need it? That’s right. It goes into county landfills. Just as everywhere else, our landfills are getting overburdened with waste.

Buying from or donating to the Manatee County Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore helps to reduce the amount of waste that going into our local landfill. Annually, up to 200 tons of building material will be diverted from the waste stream here in Manatee County and put to good use through ReStore.

When: ReStore is open to the public every week from Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (to 6:00 pm on Friday).
